About
This is a very special Aboriginal cultural event in collaboration with Uncle Bruce Muckadda Shillingsworth and family. We will be learning how to cook traditional widja (bread) on the campfire and about traditional indigenous history and culture.
All profits will be donated to Yaama Guroo.
cthe session may continue into the evening/dark. Please ensure long hair is tied back and avoid wearing any loose items of clothing or jewellery.
Please bring drinks, snacks/dinner for your family - we will be eating widja but there may not be enough for "dinner" as such. Widja contains gluten. There will not be any gluten free alternative available. We will be enjoying it with various spread. Widja is halal friendly.
Toileting is limited. Please be prepared for your children to do bush wees. The session will be postponed in the event of rain/heat wave.
